Biography

For over 20 years, Greg has been in leadership positions in the areas of healthcare venture capital, private equity, business development, and M&A strategy. His contributions have spanned multiple industry subsectors and investment life cycles. Since 2012, Greg has held the position of Managing Director at Longitude Capital, where he has been responsible for Healthcare and Life Sciences investments. Greg was previously with Rho Capital Partners, McKinsey & Company, and The Parthenon Group. The companies that Greg has invested in have generated significant enterprise value and resulted in multiple successful liquidity events. Greg has maintained a limited clinical practice and served as a voluntary Clinical Instructor with the University of California, San Francisco since 2009. In addition, he has served as a Physician with Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, a Hospitalist with Montefiore Medical Center in New York, and a Resident in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital, Weill-Cornell Medical Center. Greg earned his MD and MBA degrees from Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar, and his AB in Economics and English from Amherst College.
